Impressions from the heart of the Kalahari

Rhino Ridge is a family-run Game Reserve built on a deep passion for nature and the outdoors. Located in eastern Namibia, its 3,400 hectares are shaped by the red sand dunes of the Kalahari Desert, contrasting with the lush greens of mixed tree and shrub savannah.

Rhino Ridge Kalahari Game Reserve is home to more than 30 species of Plains Game, including Giraffe, Zebra, Eland, Black Wildebeest, Ostrich and Kudu. And then, although a rarer sight, there are the nocturnal species such as Aardvark, Leopard, Hyena and Pangolin. Birdlife is also abundant, especially during the rainy summer months.
